I know, it's disgusting to keep talking about it, but I have to say, everyone should have a husband like mine. Not only has he been in the baby's room every night working and organizing (though sometimes questionably) but he even thinks to bring me flowers for no good reason:
He even picked out the three types himself and arranged them! I'm just saying, I am lucky.
Stevie has even been pretty good, and cute:
She has this new pose when she waits for her dinner, she looks like a wet gremlin:
She had a friend over Sunday, Tony's dog Fletch. They got along super well.
But they wore eachother out!
We also got her a huge palatial estate to sleep in. We had a perfectly good crate, but lately she has been loving to stretch way out. She tried the other night and her feet were up against one end of the crate and her head was SMASHED into the far other end, with her chin laying on her chest. She tried to sleep that way and eventually got up and left the crate and stretched out on the floor. So I got on Craigslist (not just for killers!) and shockingly found a guy who wanted to trade his larger crate for one size smaller! He didn't even want any money in return. Not only that, but we had the exact same crates, which was perfect because we loved the style of Stevie's crate. So we met up at the Dunkin Donuts, switched crates, and moved on with our lives. And he didn't even kill us! It's so nice when things work out so perfectly like that. Here is her new palace:
When she sits up, her head doesn't even touch the top anymore! It seems ridiculous to get the largest crate available for a 38 lb. dog, but she is HUGE when she stretches out. Easily 4.5 feet long. And she's not even a year yet!
You are the luckiest of ladies! Looks like everything is in order - the baby room, the dog is set and Behaving! and Danny's got it wrapped up with a nice neat bow of flowers. Looks like the nesting is done and time to bring on the BABY!
ReplyDeleteHope to hear from you Very Very SOON!
Lots of love,
