I got turned off to CVS for a while, mainly because I was tired from being pregnant and did not want to shop, and they also shortchanged me $10 Extra Care Bucks a few months ago, so I got mad at them. Plus their deals got kind of lame for a while there. This week, that all changed... I bought these (our first diaper purchase!):
And got all this for free:
That would be another pack of diapers, three boxes of cereal, three bottles of shampoo, a deodorant, toothpaste, half and half, and six energy bars. ALL FOR FREE! That would be the result of shopping CVS sales, using coupons, and using Extra Care Bucks (and I didn't have any saved up, these were just earned from today's trip... I broke the purchase up into two transactions).
The retail of all these things would have been $88.54, I paid $24.17. Yay! Even Danny was impressed!
Dang! I end up throwing away outdated CVS bucks all the time. You put me to shame. I will start mailing my CVS $$ and coupons your way.
ReplyDeleteYou guys like Garnier? Or should I say, "Ghhhharrrneihhh" as they do on the commercial. We got a lot of it for free from CVS but we hate it. If you want it I will send it to you. Along with some super cute baby stuff? Maybe. Let me know. You are motivating me with your mad saving skills. I may have to try again. Lately CVS has been sucking.
